Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

It’s been a little while since I’ve written to you, and that feels fitting for this season. Life has been full. Calendars are packed. And Christmas is just days away.

If you’re feeling stretched thin, behind, or pulled in a hundred directions, you’re not alone…

This time of year can quietly pressure us to do more, attend everything, say yes to everyone, and somehow make it all magical. But sometimes the most loving thing we can do for ourselves and our families is to slow down and say no to a few things.

Here are a few gentle reminders as we head into the final days before Christmas:

1. It’s okay to do less.

Not every invitation needs a yes. Not every tradition needs to happen this year. Peace often comes when we choose what matters most and release the rest.

2. Create space for rest and presence.

A quiet cup of coffee, a short walk, a few deep breaths, or a moment of prayer can ground us when everything feels rushed. Rest is not selfish. It’s necessary.

3. Remember the true gift of the season.

Christmas isn’t about perfection or performance. It’s about Jesus, our ultimate gift. Hope. Peace. Love. Grace. When we return our focus to Him, everything else falls into perspective.

📖 Bible Verses to hold onto:
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.” Isaiah 9:6

As we move through these next couple of weeks, my prayer is that we would give ourselves grace, choose simplicity where we can, and make space for what truly fills our hearts. Enjoy the tender moments with loved ones.

💬 Your turn:
What’s one thing you could let go of this week to create a little more peace and enjoy this season a little bit more?

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding

I made this coconut vanilla chia pudding about a month ago and everyone loved it! It was so creamy and delicious! It’s super simple and you can adjust the flavors, such as add pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice, or try it with chocolate. I’m looking forward to trying a few variations, but the vanilla is amazing and I can’t wait to make it again!
