Trying Something New Takes Courage

This past week, I took two big steps outside of my comfort zone—and I’m celebrating them both.

🎒 First, my hubby and I (plus our pup Sage!) went on our very first backpacking trip together. We hiked about 8 miles round trip, carried our gear, camped overnight (sleeping on the ground…didn’t sleep much), and soaked in the beauty of nature. And we even saw a moose! Backpacking with my hubby was a huge personal goal of mine for the summer— And we did it!

💻 Then just yesterday, I hosted my very first live Zoom workshop for moms who are ready to reclaim their vision and purpose. I was nervous, unsure if I had done enough prep, and I almost let the doubt win. But I showed up anyway. And that is what courage looks like. Taking the action, even when scared.

I’ve learned this:
You don’t have to feel ready to start—just take the next small step forward.

Tip: When something feels a little scary because it’s out of your comfort zone… pause, pray, and take one small action step. That’s how clarity, growth, and momentum begin.

📖 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9

🎥 I took a short video from our backpacking adventure and would love for you to check it out below!

Let me know—what’s something new you’ve been wanting to try this summer? I’d love to cheer you on and support you!
