It’s been about three weeks since I last posted, and that’s because I’ve been doing something I don’t always give myself permission to do — taking a break.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been camping, spending time with family and friends, connecting with my community, enjoying outdoor adventures (including parasailing for the first time 🪂), and just slowing down from some of the normal responsibilities. It was refreshing and life‑giving — exactly what I needed.
And now… I’m back, and excited to share a little encouragement for wherever you find yourself today.
Whether your summer has been full of joy, challenges, or a mix of both, here are two quick ways to reset and feel renewed:
✨ Pause & Notice – Step away from your usual rhythm for just a few minutes. Look around, breathe deeply, and notice something good in the moment. Gratitude shifts our mindset.
✨ Choose One Small Reset – Whether it’s a short walk, journaling, calling a friend, or simply resting, pick one thing that will help you feel lighter today.
📖 “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength;
they will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
Breaks aren’t a sign of weakness — they’re part of living well. And sometimes they’re exactly what we need to return with more focus, creativity, and joy.
