It’s hard to believe we’re in the final stretch of 2025!
My husband and I have been working hard to complete some projects in the yard before all the rains and cold weather! We have dedicated a lot of time and hard work over this past month to make it happen! But we had to be intentional and make plans that we carried out together (even clearing the calendar on some days). Doing it together was very motivating and helped keep us accountable toward reaching our goals! We completed them by the way! I don’t think I’m the only one that does better with having accountability and having someone that is counting on me! How about you? Is there someone you can lean on to help you reach your goals?
With these last few months of the year, consider, “What do I really want to accomplish? What are my biggest desires?
What habits do I want to strengthen?
Where do I want to see growth — in my health, faith, relationships, or mindset? Who can support me with helping me be accountable?”
October starts filling up with the upcoming celebrations and holidays! Life gets full. Focus shifts. Goals slip. Motivation fades. But here’s the good news — it’s never too late to start again.
Here are a few simple tips to help you finish this year strong:
- Start small. Pick one area that matters most and take one small action today. Change happens through consistency, not perfection.
- Be kind to yourself. Notice when negative thoughts creep in (“I should have…” “I’m behind…”). Pause and replace them with truth. You’re growing — and growth takes time.
- Create space for reflection. Spend a few quiet moments each week asking, “What worked? What didn’t? What’s one small shift I can make?“
