Let's Prioritize Our Health
It's time to prioritize our health!

We are already halfway through September! While it might still feel like summer outside, our schedules are shifting. Most of our kids have recently started back at school. And even if you don’t have kids, this season marks a change for most of us.

With new routines beginning, it’s the perfect opportunity to reset some of our own habits too (not just for our kids). Around here, we’ve started easing into earlier bedtimes, more consistent wakeups (with help from our alarms), and a little more structure to our days. Some of those healthy habits are already taking root… but let’s be honest, there are still a few areas where we could use a little boost (like committing to a regular workout or carving out focused work time). What is it for you?

We’ve all been there—summer can be a beautiful break, but sometimes that break spills over and becomes a little too unstructured. The good news? We don’t have to overhaul everything overnight. Small steps forward are still progress.

Let’s Take Inventory:

As we move into fall, it’s a great time to pause and ask ourselves:

  • How am I really feeling—physically, mentally, emotionally?
  • Am I fueling my body well?
  • Am I getting enough rest, hydration, and movement?
  • Are there parts of my environment or relationships that feel draining instead of life-giving?

These aren’t questions to overwhelm us. They’re a way to gently check in—with grace, not guilt. We don’t need to be perfect. But we do get to choose what we prioritize moving forward.

This Week’s Encouragement:

Let’s each pick one small shift we can make this week.

✨ Maybe it’s a 10-minute walk after dinner.
✨ Maybe it’s drinking more water.
✨ Maybe it’s setting the phone down earlier and going to bed a little sooner.

Whatever we choose, let’s remind ourselves we are worth showing up for. Every bit of care we give ourselves spills into how we care for those around us.

📖 Bible Verse for the Week:
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” — Isaiah 40:29

God meets us in our everyday routines. And when we feel stretched thin, He is still our source of strength.

Let’s Reset Together:

If you’re ready to feel more energized, more grounded, and more aligned with the life God has for us—this is the season to start.
